{|
| style="vertical-align:top; text-align:left; width:500px;" | The north-west most region of Koto, Kesseki is a land of rural towns and wide, fruitful farmland. It is governed by the halfling daimyo [[Koto: Legends Arise/People#Jin Shifuiroh|Jin Shifuiroh]].

Being the furthest region from the capital island on the western mainland, it is last in the supply chain coming from Fyushin. Due to that, a lot of the infrastructures of the region is not as developed as elsewhere, resulting in rather small towns and cities and wide open areas of nature. Many farmers live here. The people of the region care mostly about their own affairs and rely on what always worked rather than innovation.

The inhabitants of Kesseki consist of mainly halflings, but goliaths and humans are not uncommon either.
==== Machi ====
{|
| style="vertical-align:top; text-align:left; width:500px;" | While Machi is indisputably the biggest city in Kesseki and therefore its capital, it is in addition by far the smallest capital across Koto. It is made mostly of peasant homes, as its inhabitants are mostly fishers and farmers. The only great landmark is the daimyos palace, looking over the city.

Typical for Kesseki, Machi is very idyllic and peaceful. However, many may find its calmness to be boring quickly and due to that, visitors are rare in the city.
