	Opria is a presidential republic where the chancellor holds most of the power. The chancellor is elected every 200 years by the parliament. The parliament is elected every 50 years and consists of representatives of every village. Cities are divided into three size categories. The smallest villages get one representative, cities between 1,000 and 20,000 inhabitants get two representatives and cities over 20,000 inhabitants get three representatives. 			Opria was founded shortly after the new Cor'Quessir assumed power after the [[ascension]]. The people not content with the way the new Cor'Quessir got their position rebelled. After long talks to prevent a civil war they claimed the region north-east of the forest.
