Deoria: Stand against the Darkness/1st Age: Age of Creation

The first age marks the very beginning of Deoria's existence. There are only few records of these times, written in languages long forgotten. Their limited avaivability and difficult translation cause the knowledge about this age to be quite sparce.
The beginning, the very creation of Deoria, is nothing less than a mystery. Records start by an ancient race that has long been extinct. The records refer to them as Dwellers. They seem to have been nomads, travelling a large and barren world. They were not the only creatures present through this age however, as they describe another kind of entity they call the Manifests. From what can be gathered, the Manifests seem to have been quite literally that, manifestations of concepts vital to all existence. The records speak of them as gigantic creatures of indescribable shapes, wandering the world seemingly without greater ambition. A list gathered of all mentioned Manifests includes:
- Nature
- Magic
- Knowledge
- Light
- The dark one
While most of them seem clear in their representation, one Manifest is present throughout all accounts described as a dark entity of unclear purpose.
From what has been gathered, a time came where the dark one turned against his kin, leading to infighting among all Manifests. Their equal power however, caused them to fall in unison, their bodies crumbling as their hearts merged with the world they had wandered. Not much of what happened after this event is known, but the widely accepted theory is that this caused a cataclysm which both, formed Deoria as the following ages would know it, yet at the same time vanquished all that had been present on it before.
