The lack of records that describe the transition from the first to the second age have caused many theories to arise. The most common and widely accepted among them is that of the inofficial "Age between".
The theory assumes a cataclysm caused by the death of the Manifests, reshaping the entire world of Deoria into the form we know today. After this event, an unknown amount of time passed, the world growing and developing within it and many of the species that live in it finding their way into life. The developing races and nations however had no documentation yet, leaving no traces of their first steps. There are many unconfirmed ideas about the beginning of each species, though none of them have enough footing to be mentioned here.
