Aasimar are brought into this world when the gods need a mortal agent for their plans. They get born by a choosen mother and then grow up within that culture until they leave to whatever they destiny is calling upon them to do.

Life Span

Aasimar live to around 160 years old. As they are born they look identical to the species of their parents but as they grow the differences become more apparent. After a few years an Aasimar child gets their first visions. Aasimar children are usually send off to a temple to learn more about their destiny and what the gods and the world expect of them. In most cases they are taught Celestial there.

Coming of Age Ceremonies

As an Aasimar child turns 20 it is considered an adult. This is usually the point where they leave their parents house and go off into the world to furfill their destiny. Usually parents are proud to have an Aasimar as their child as it means to have child do something important in the world and the children are send off with great honors.

Death Rites

When an Aasimar dies they are mourned as they way their parent species would have been mourned. If the parent species cannot be determined they are honored as the other people see fit.

Identification

Aasimar are identified by a golden armband that is engraved with their birth place, date and their name. A few years before adulthood a local smith takes gold donations from the community to melt down and form their armband.
