Staborgia is the central country in Gostrai and the biggest country in Erotria. Due to it's vast ressources and large size Staborgia is a very powerful nation. The crest features a black eagle on red background.

Government

Staborgia is a totalitarian dictatorship. The ruler comes out of the Staborg Dynasty. There is a parliament but it has no direct politial power. The members are various experts, merchants and other influencal people. Every 5 years the membership of the parliament is checked and updated. Members and people who want to join have to submit a declaration on why they have a right to be in the parliament. The current parliament holds over 300 members. It serves as council to the Staborg Dynasty.

Alliances

Staborgia has a military alliance with Astoria. There is loose trading with other countries but no specific treaties.

History

After the ascension the Staborg family seized power after being kept down in the previous government. After battles, treaties and alliances the Staborg family proclaimed the Kingdom of Staborgia in 3E28.

Over the years Staborgia seeked to expand it's territory but wasn't succesful.

Society

The people of Staborgia are very orderly people. They value discipline and loyality. The Staborg Dynasty is harsh and the newspapers are controlled unofficially. Complaints are rarely spoken in public. However the Staborg Dynasty take great care of Staborgia. A mayor part of the budget is put into highly advanced education and the mayor roads in Staborgia are one of the best in whole of Erotria.
